Beginning in 2011 and running through summer 2018, The Scholastic Summer Reading Challenge promoted summer reading to schoolkids as a way to encourage them to read more. over eight years, kids logged more than 1 billion reading minutes in an effort to match or beat the previous year's total. My role was to promote the program to schools through printed and multimedia channels.
